Il Monte Tre Calli e la vetta accessibile piu alta direttamente sopra la Costiera Amalfitana, e le viste dalla sua cima a 1.120 metri sono davvero impressionanti. Partendo da Bomerano — lo stesso borgo dove inizia il Sentiero degli Dei — questo sentiero sale invece di seguire la costa, arrampicandosi ripidamente attraverso terreno calcareo coperto di arbusti fino a una cima battuta dal vento con una piccola croce di ferro. Dalla vetta, l'intera Costiera Amalfitana si srotola sotto di voi come una mappa in rilievo: Positano, Praiano, Furore, il tracciato della SS163 scavato nelle falesie, e il mare che si estende fino a ogni orizzonte. Nelle giornate eccezionalmente limpide si vedono le montagne della Calabria a sud e il cono vulcanico del Vesuvio a nord. Il sentiero non e tecnicamente difficile ma e ripido ed esposto, guadagnando 500 metri in soli 3 chilometri. La cima puo essere ventosa e notevolmente piu fresca della costa — portate uno strato extra anche in estate.

Best May-June and September-October. Summer is possible but start early — the climb is exposed. Winter brings possible snow and ice above 900 meters. The summit is often in cloud November-February. Always check weather before ascending.
Start: SITA bus from Amalfi to Agerola-Bomerano (40 min). The trailhead is the same piazza as the Path of the Gods but you head uphill. Return the same way.
Combine with the Path of the Gods: summit Tre Calli in the morning, return to Bomerano for lunch, then walk the Path of the Gods in the afternoon. A legendary double.
