Castiglione is Ravello's hidden beach — a sandy cove at the base of the valley that separates Ravello from Minori, accessible by a winding road or local bus. Most visitors to Ravello never discover it because the village sits 350 meters above sea level and everyone assumes there is no beach. The sand is fine by Amalfi Coast standards, the water is calm and shallow near shore, and a couple of simple beach clubs provide the basics. It feels like a different world from the crowds above — local families, a few in-the-know tourists, and the sound of nothing but waves. Perfect for combining a morning at Villa Rufolo with an afternoon swim.
