Marina di Albori is a hidden pebble cove below the tiny hamlet of Albori, perched on the hillside between Vietri and Cetara. About 150 steps descend from the road through lemon groves to a wild beach with no facilities and no crowds. The cove faces west and is shaded by the cliff in the morning โ the sun arrives around midday and stays through a spectacular afternoon until sunset. The water is deep and clean, and the isolation means you will likely share it with no more than a handful of locals. This is not a beach for comfort seekers: no shade rentals, no bar, no lifeguard. It is a beach for people who want to feel the coast as it was fifty years ago.
Stairs from the road above Albori (signed from SS163). Very limited roadside parking. Nearest SITA bus stop on SS163.
Come after 13:00 when the sun clears the cliff. Bring everything you need โ water, food, shade. The walk down through the lemon terraces is beautiful in itself. Not suitable for small children due to the steep access and deep water.
